Outdoor Pedagogy

Pedagogy is the method and practice of teaching. We incorporate loose parts play in our outdoor learning environments, which have the potential for promoting children’s cognitive and physical development, communication, social and emotional development, and their socio-cultural identity.

We are partnered with ASAP (Access, support, and participation) and G.R.I.T (Getting ready for inclusion today) these programs empower early childhood educators, families, and community partners to promote children’s healthy social and emotional development.

Transportation

Our location allows us to walk children to and from Canyon Elementary school to our program. (Pre-K to Grade 6)
